DAC Awards Banquet
This weekend is
the DAC hosted ice race event in
Mindenhammer. It is the last of 6 weekends
concluding the series for 2013. As usual it
will also be our annual awards dinner.
Dinner is to be held Saturday, March 2nd at 7 PM at "That
Place in Carnarvon" located 16 kms.
(about 15 minutes) north of Minden on Hwy 35
in the town of
Carnarvon just east of the intersection
of Hwy's #35 & #118.

DAC Ice Race Weekend
Postponed
The first race
weekend on the 2013 calendar hosted by the
DAC has been cancelled which means that the
DAC weekend has been moved to the end of the
schedule to the first "rain date" on the
calendar March 2nd and 3rd. There will be
another pre-tech weekend held at the track
this Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th.

there's no iceracing this weekend that DAC
members may be interested in the following
trip to the upcoming Detroit Autoshow this

Change in Go-Kart
Nite/Monthly Meeting
Grand Prix Kartways has over booked tomorrow
night. Rescheduling the gokarting to Thursday
instead of Wednesday. The Wednesday monthly
meeting will be this Thursday (Dec. 6th) at
GrandPrix Kartways. GrandPrix Kartways is at
Downsview Park 75 Carl Hall Rd., Bay 3, Toronto
ON (416) 638-5278.
The DAC has a number of discount coupons ($29)
that allows you unlimited use from 6pm to
midnight.

Join us as several of us venture down to
Flamboro speedway to cheer on Stef Haas as he
races a TQ midget. No really, for sure this time
- weather permitting. We plan to arrive early
and have a little tailgate party before racing
commences. If enough people are interested I
will inquire about a reduced admission rate. Let
me know if you want to come. If you haven’t seen
these Midgets run on this tight Flamboro track,
you have to see it, they are simply terrifying
!!!

is back again this year
hosting a round of regional car racing. Friday
is an open practice. A detailed schedule will be
posted on the
Shannonville website under "Upcoming
Program" the week of the event. Spectators are
welcome - no charge
